Learning Through Art Granting Organizations

Carpenter Foundation

IRVAC thanks the Carpenter Foundation for their generous grant of $4,000 for the 2017-2018 school year .  We also thank Umpqua Bank's Foundation gift of $3,500 in spring 2017. With funding from Umpqua Bank's Foundation  and Carpenter Foundation, IRVAC will offer curriculum-enrichment activities at both Evergreen Elementary and Lorna Bryne Middle Schools for 2017-2018.

Carpenter Foundation also awarded us a grant of $4,000 for the 2012-2013 school year, which helped us provide Learning Through Arts projects in our local schools. 

Josephine County Cultural Coalition

IRVAC thanks the  Josephine County Cultural Coalition for their generous donation of $500 to help us assemble and mount a piece of public art on the Cave Junction City Hall building and to go toward our mural project at Jubilee Park. 

West Family Foundation

IRVAC thanks the West Family Foundation for their generous grant of $3,800 for the 2012-13 school year. Together with funding from the Carpenter Foundation, this grant allowed IRVAC to offer curriculum-enrichment activities at both Evergreen Elementary and Lorna Bryne Middle Schools. 

Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation

IRVAC thanks the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation for their generous donation of $7,500 for the 2010-2011 school year for Learning Through Art.  

Federal 21st Century Grant Program

IRVAC offers after-school Learning Through Art classes at Lorna Byrne Middle School and Evergreen Elementary under the aegis of the Three Rivers School District and the Boys and Girls Club.

Britt Festivals

IRVAC partnered with Britt Festivals to coordinate and promote the Hayes Greenfield In-School Residency in April 2012.

The cultural trust is a statewide cultural plan to raise significant new funds to invest in Oregon’s arts, humanities, and heritage.

Serves the residents of Jackson and Josephine counties and provides art enrichment and education programs.

I.V. Fine Artists, Inc.

An open, working studio for all artists. Active in all media. The public is invited to visit and watch the artists at work. For more info call 541-592-6351

Rural Organizing Project

IRVAC partnered with the Rural Organizing Project to coordinate and promote "History from Below" an Oregon Humanities Conversation Project in September 2012.

Art Friday
Second Friday of the month, May-Aug. during the CJ Farmers Market, Jubilee Park, Cave Junction, 4-7 pm. We showcase a local artist, offer music or an activity, and host the Kids' Art Tent, where Sue Brockman helps children to make cute and crafty objects to take home.
